The Studentenwerk has set up an organisation which is in charge of the cultural activities inside the Studentenhaus. The cultural centre for students is a non-profit organisation and its function is to support students‘ cultural work on an ideal and financial level. Alongside Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and the Studentendienst Karlsruhe e.V., the Studentenwerk Karlsruhe is one of the three founder members of the centre. Its activities include the publication of the cultural calendar Leporello, the management of plays, movie shows, exhibitions and musical performances. In addition, different workshops are offered: the video group of Karlsruhe University (VadUK), for instance, offers various workshops round the topics video and movie.

Tickets for performances in the Studentenwerk’s ballroom can also be booked through the online ticket-service.
