By students for students

The student centre Z10 is organised by volunteer students who try to achieve their idea of meaningful leisure activities - not only for themselves but also for fellow students and together with fellow students. Various events and courses are organised here. Additionally, the building serves as a meeting place for students. The Z10 is an important location within the university scene in Karlsruhe.

Cultural events are predominantly carried by student groups; plays are, for instance, performed by university's theatre groups. In addition, there are various other activities, for instance, the annual summer festival, cocktail evenings or participation in university festivals. Furthermore performances of professional artists and movie screenings are offered.

Interested students organise different art courses. Depending on supply and demand, every semester there are courses and workshops offered, for instance cooking, pottery, handicrafts, photography, developing pictures, building birdhouses or tiffany technique.
A large part of the building’s rooms are equipped for various purposes. These rooms, including the fully furnished kitchen with a large dining room, the pottery room and the conference room, can be used by day at no charge to students.

While the university is in session, the hall on the ground floor is open to students all day. Here students can read newspapers or magazines or chat. In the afternoons and on two evenings per week beverages and snacks are served and games are available.
We welcome everybody who is interested to join in!

The weekly meeting takes place every Thursday around 20:00 in the Z10. Just give us a call or drop by!
